Award of the seal

Quality certificates are an important aid to orientation. This also applies to the assessment of employers and working conditions. The fairerjob@logistik seal is therefore only awarded to companies that have passed an objective test.

The fairerjob@logistik seal is awarded in two stages.

For the Base seal logistics companies must prove that they fulfill the following conditions:

  • Wage payment at the standard rate (according to collective agreement or comparable)
  • Punctual payment of wages
  • Full payment of expenses in the amount of the tax expense allowance
  • Safety and occupational health care
  • At least 27 days of vacation
  • Provision of parking spaces free of charge
  • Assumption of overnight accommodation costs during the regular weekly rest period for drivers

In order to Premium seal in order to be awarded the "Basic Seal", logistics companies must prove that they fulfill the conditions of the Basic Seal and offer their employees at least five additional social benefits. The benefits are listed in detail on the "The fairerjob@logistics seal" listed.

To ensure that the seal can really provide guidance and that employees and clients can rely on its validity, SVG Zertifizierungsdienst GmbH carries out a neutral audit of compliance with the criteria. Companies that have applied for the seal must prove that they actually comply with the criteria for the award of the seal. Meaningful documentation is required for each individual criterion.

We require the following documents for verification:

The basic requirement for verifying that wages are paid in accordance with the collective agreement is the submission of a random sample of wage statements or confirmation that the company is bound by the collective agreement through an employers' association or the submission of a company collective agreement. For the other conditions, depending on the criterion, confirmation by the tax consultant, the submission of company agreements and, for safety and occupational health care, the submission of contracts with service providers, the appointment of an in-house safety specialist or, for companies that are legally insured against accidents in the BG Verkehr, proof of membership in the ASD of the BG Verkehr are required.

For the award of the premium seal, further evidence must be submitted in addition to the evidence for the award of the basic seal.

Depending on the criterion, this can be done with different types of evidence. For example: this can also be a random sample of wage statements (e.g. for above-tariff pay, the amount of vacation, special payments, tax-free benefits in kind, a company vehicle, capital-forming benefits or for a company pension scheme), confirmations from the tax advisor (for the assumption of costs or the free use of, for example, washing areas or e-charging stations) or company agreements (e.g. for special payments, anniversary bonuses, allowances, amount of vacation, special payments, tax-free benefits in kind, a company vehicle, capital-forming benefits or for a company pension scheme).E.g. washing stations or e-charging stations) or company agreements (e.g. for special payments, anniversary bonuses, allowances, amount of vacation, assumption of costs, company pension scheme and company health insurance, etc.).
