Wages paid at the standard rate

to make your work worthwhile.

Collective wage agreements are negotiated between the employers' associations and the trade unions representing the employees. The wage agreements have regional validity. As a rule, a collective wage agreement applies to a federal state, but there are also other regulations. If a company is bound by a collective agreement, the applicable collective agreement automatically applies to this company. Not all employers are bound by collective agreements; collective bargaining is voluntary. However, this does not necessarily mean that companies that are not bound by collective agreements pay lower wages or offer fewer benefits than companies that are. In addition to the regional collective agreements, there are also company collective agreements. In logistics, however, this only applies to comparatively few large logistics companies, usually with locations in several federal states.

For the fairerjob@logistik seal, we take the wage level from the regional collective agreement in the federal state in which the company is based as the basis for the audit. A comparable wage based on the collective agreement is also permitted for the seal, but not lower. If a company has concluded its own company collective agreement with the trade unions, this company collective agreement is the basis for the audit. If the company is based in a federal state in which there is no valid collective agreement, the collective agreement of a neighboring state can be used.
