Further training never hurts and is an investment in your personal future viability on the job market. Additional skills and new knowledge improve your opportunities in your own company and prepare you for changes in the future. Further training can be organized internally by your employer. Another option is for you to take the initiative and train with a training provider.
It is also possible that your employer would like to deploy you in other areas of work, either in full or in addition. If you complete a training course because your employer wants to deploy you in a different area, they will normally cover the costs. However, there are also employers who encourage the personal commitment of their employees and promote further training by granting leave of absence or covering the costs.
