Free work clothes

so that you can protect your own clothing.

Activities in logistics are very often associated with special conditions, whether in the warehouse, as a driver, in the workshop and in furniture logistics or on a forklift truck. Clothing is also exposed to greater stress than in the office, for example.

Work clothing is specially tailored to the needs of your work. Breathable materials ensure a pleasant body climate, regardless of whether it is hot or cold. Workwear protects you from injuries and accidents. Reinforced materials protect against cuts, impacts and other hazards. Reflective elements make you more visible, especially in dark or confusing work areas. With well-designed workwear, you always have everything you need to hand. In general, the employer does not have to provide work clothing unless it is protective clothing or protective equipment. Protective clothing is a special type of work clothing. Regardless of whether it is normal work clothing or protective clothing, the employer can order that this clothing is to be worn during work activities. If he issues such an order, he must provide the appropriate clothing. If an activity is associated with hazards, the employer can issue a binding order for protective clothing to be worn, e.g. safety helmets, gloves or safety shoes. Underwear and socks practically never count as work clothing.

In order to receive the fairerjob@logistics seal, employers must provide their non-commercial employees with work clothing free of charge.
