Cleaning of work clothing by the employer / allowance for cleaning costs for clothing
so that you can always work in fresh laundry.
If the employer provides work clothing, he can cover the costs of repair and cleaning, e.g. by a laundry. If it is clearly work clothing, e.g. because it has a company logo or the company name on it, the employer can also pay a "laundry fee" for cleaning. This will then reimburse your laundry costs.
This is an "optional benefit". However, if your employer does not cover these costs, you can deduct cleaning costs for work clothes from your income tax return if they are clearly recognizable as work clothes. Your tax advisor can give you more detailed information on this.
In order to receive the fairerjob@logistik premium seal, employers can either clean the work clothing they provide themselves at their own expense or pay the employees a "laundry fee" as a service to be selected.
