Childcare subsidy
the alternative to the company kindergarten.
Many kindergartens or facilities for the care of young children charge fees. For children who are not yet of school age, your employer can provide a subsidy for childcare in a kindergarten or daycare center. They can either pay the contribution directly to the relevant facility or via the payroll. It is important to note that the facility must be suitable for both the accommodation and care of children.
Employer benefits for the care of small children in kindergartens or similar are tax-free for you, provided they are provided in addition to the wages owed anyway. In practice, this benefit does not occur very often, as there are tax risks and the administrative burden is comparatively high.
In order to receive the fairerjob@logistics premium seal, employers can select the payment of childcare allowances as one criterion, provided that childcare is actually provided rather than just accommodation.
